[Today’s post is going to be a bit short, but still quite exciting. I'm having a really busy week, and the administrative tasks are taking a lot of my time.]

Having an iPod for a year, it gathers quite a lot of scratches and it’s not that sexy anymore – but you can fix that with a new brushed steel look.

Say goodbye to ugly scratches and hello to the brushed steel look.

Steps:

  1. Get a kitchen sponge, the kind with the abrasive layer. It’s like using a fine sand paper – but it gives you more control over the movement.
  2. Get a towel and lay it on the desk; put the iPod in top.
  3. Get a cotton thingy from your girlfriend and put a little alcohol on it or use window washer to clean the fingerprints off the iPod. This is necessary so you correctly assess how much you need to adjust the movement and the result.
  4. The movement should be up-down-up, while applying pressure on the sponge. Keep the movement straight for best results. After 5 minutes, use the cotton thingy to wipe the back of the iPod and assess the results.
  5. Enjoy your new iPod and brag about it to your friends!
